Deaf Awareness Week Blog Hop

Hello and welcome - This is my first ever Blog Hop, so I just hope I have done things right!

I've tried something new!

Just a quick little post to show you my first play with the Martha Stewart moulds and clay that I did yesterday.  I started off, as you can see, doing them just with one colour, I then got a little bit braver and decided to have a go at marbling  a couple of the butterflies, and using two tone clay for the teeny one.  Thought I would have a go at the rose - there are instructions, but I didn't want to do a huge one, so adapted it. When I picked them up this morning, I couldn't believe how light they are, so yes they are perfect for embellishments on your projects, there is no weight to them at all.

Flower Frenzy - help!

Hello everyone, thank you for all the comments left on my blog.  I have been rather naughty not keeping up with comments on your blogs recently, no excuses, but promise to do better!

'Floral Frenzy'

I'm sure you all know by now that I am a Clean and Simple crafter, so this challenge, as I read it, got me right out of my comfort zone!

Here is my take on it:

I started with a shaped card from my stash and made it into an easel.  I coloured the background with pink tint Pan Pastel, then coloured some spiders web with an Arctic Blue Promarker.  Then came all the images which I decoupaged - I've never cut out so may images in one go in my life! Everything used for the flowers,  butterflies, and backing paper for the base of the card  has come from the Kraftyhands Kew cd.  The postcards are also from the Kew range.
