A card I made yesterday, I'm not sure whether it would be classed as Shabby Chic, so would appreciate your views

It's an 8 x 8 card.  The background was done using Spellbinders Grand Impressabilities Butterfly  Garden.  The topper which is from Hunkydory is put onto Spellbinders Square Scallops large and small dies.  Corners are from a die in the Persian Accents set, but chopped about a bit (lol) and I added some pearls from  Basics Pearls.  I twisted the grosgrain ribbon together and finally I added the roses from Creative Expressions, two of which I coloured with a promarker.

I would like to enter it into the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge - Shabby Chic

Welcome to my blog on a very dull and extremely windy Saturday.  Here is my entry into the Cards Galore Challenge which is Butterflies

I used the Spellbinders Grand Labels Eleven to make the card blank, which I then distressed with Tim Holtz dusty concord ink.  The backing paper is from the Dawn Bibby collection, and the butterflies are made using Memory Box dies.  The sentiment is Creative Expressions which I stamped on to more of the Dawn Bibby Collection backing paper and cut out using spellbinders label 4 die, and again distressed with dusty concord.

Sorry I haven't blogged in ages, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day just lately, especially as there has been a lot going on family wise.

Here is my entry into the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge 'Love is in the air'

I designed the card with the My Craft Studio programme - Simply Sillhouettes - the base card is black, then I layered red card on top of that and then attached a small border of holographic card.  The edges are inked with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress ink just to give it a bit more warmth, and the heart is decoupaged.  I also added a few dots of  Xmas Red Stickles.

Hi everyone, hope your'e managing to  keep warm.  At least we've had some sunshine here in Wokingham for a little while.

Here is my entry for the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge 'Pink and Blue'

http://craftybloggersnetwork.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-12-pink-and-blue.html

I started with a 5 x 5 square card and used the Serif programme and a  digikit called Solitude  for the design.

I cut out the frame, attached it to the card and then stamped the sentiment which is from Clarity Stamps  onto the backing paper.  I then decoupaged the candle.  The butterfly is from Sharon Duncan.

Good afternoon all.  It's my sister in law's 60th birthday and she will be celebrating at the weekend, here is the card I am sending to her

I started off by making an 8" x 8" easel card.  The background papers are Hunkydory, the stamp is the Art Impressions 'Girlfriends' stamp, coloured with promarkers.  The stop bar is the Memory Box Pearl Lace die, and the perfume bottle was a free download.  I blinged the stop bar up a bit with Papermania gems which match the colours used on the towels on the bath.

It's been ages since I blogged, but finally got round to it today.

This is my entry for the Crafty Bloggers Network 'Oriental' Challenge

I used Hunkydory backing paper layered on top of some stash that I had.  The stamp is Creative Expressions, coloured in with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from Dufex.
