Final Day of I love sketches by Tsunami Rose

Good evening everyone, at least it hasn't rained today .............. yet!   As you will see this is the last day of my April stint, I have enjoyed doing the sketches, and some of them were quite challenging. I decided that one month was enough, as I want to do other things, and in fact cards I have wanted/needed to do have had to be put on the back burner.  I would like to thank everyone who has supported me by leaving a comment over the last month, it really is appreciated x

Here is my card for today

and here is the sketch

I'm afraid, I don't remember where the papers come from - they were still in the cellophane packet, but there was no name as to who designed them etc or where I got them from!

The flower is sitting on a Spellbinder die which is the Square Swatches, and the flower is Spiral Blossom 3.  The sentiment is from Flowersoft , I used baker's twine and the gems are Papermania.

Thank you again, and see you tomorrow.  Have a great evening everyone x

Penultimate Day - 29 of I love sketches by Tsunami Rose

Good evening everyone, finally the sun is shining after an awful wet and windy day.  Hope you have all had a good weekend despite the weather.  Thank you  so much for all the comments that were left yesterday, I appreciate each and every one of them.

Here is my card for today

and here is the sketch

the background papers, pearls and lace are all from my stash.  The stamp is from PaperArtsy.  I decided I only wanted 3 pearls on my card, because you may have noticed that I like minimalist cards and don't like to detract from the main image.  Hope you like it.  Enjoy what's left of the weekend, and see you again tomorrow xx

Here is YESTERDAY'S Card

and here is the sketch

I decided to use a doilly instead of Spellbinders for this one.  I stamped it with clear ink, and then coloured it with mica powder.  The rest of the card is made up of bits and pieces from Hunkydory

Here is Today's card

and here is the sketch

I stamped the background with a script stamp from Particraft (part of my prize from Sue Wilson).  The Union Jack was taken from the Serif Programme, and the Stamp is from Penny Black.  The cute little bunting is from Little Claire's, and the ribbon I had in my stash.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far, hugs to those that need them, and see you again tomorrow x

Day 26 of I love sketches by Tsunami Rose

Good evening everyone, definitely had April showers today, but the sun is shining at the moment.
Here is my card for today, unfortunately the photo doesn't show the mica or sentiment to it's full potential, looks much better in real life - have to blame it on the weather - it was awful when I took the pic

and here is the sketch

The pansies were stamped using a Just Rite stamp.  I stamped with Versamark and then brushed mica powder over the top. The cardstock, ribbon and brown pearls I had in my stash and the black and white swirl pearls are from Creative Expressions. Thank you to everyone who commented yesterday, and hope you all have a lovely evening.  See you tomorrow x

Good evening everyone.  Well we have had all sorts here today, sunshine, rain two lots of hailstones and now back to rain!

I used papers from Daydream, the swirls are chipboard and I just gave them a quick blast with Crafters Companion Gold glitter spray.  I cut the rectangle from Spellbinders Romantic rectangles and the flowers are from Prima.  The sentiment is from Creative Expressions (I think! lol).  It is such a different card for me because I don't usually do 'dark', but thought I would give it a go - not my favourite I must admit.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you all have a lovely evening .  Will be back tomorrow x

better late than never! - I love sketches by Tsunami Rose

Good afternoon everyone.  Well, I haven't been able to blog since Friday as I've been a bit busy.  Highlight of the weekend was a trip to Ally Pally for the craft show.  It was absolutely fabulous, and I might add my very first visit to any of the craft shows.  Saw lots of people - Little Leonie, Barbara Gray, Rob Adams, the Glitter girls and many others.  I was lucky enough to talk to Sue Wilson, who as soon as I mentioned my name knew who I was - I was very impressed, and she was constantly demoing and surrounded by crafters.  So now to play catch up.  I won't go into detail as to what materials I used on the first two,  but if you would like to know, please ask.

My card for Saturday 14th April - sketch 6

and here is the sketch

Sunday 15h April - sketch 17

Here is the sketch

and finally here is todays card

I hope you have enjoyed looking at the sketches and apologise again for having to put three on together.  Tomorrow I will be back to posting one at a time.  Thanks for looking, take care and see you tomorrow x

I used papers that I had in my stash for ever.  The rose is a Le Blanche stamp, and the word thanks was cut using a Memory box die.  The rose is from Prima.  I meant to put some card candi on it and promptly forgot.  Head and sieve go together very well where my memory is concerned!

The papers I used are all from Kanban Cream Soda paper pad.  I used a Spellbinders label die and then stamped  the sentiment, which is from Hobby Art. The flowers were made with Spellbinders bitty blossoms - need a bit of practice with these me thinks lol. - Finally the buttons I bought from Joanna Sheen and  threaded bakers twine through the holes.

Day 11 of I love sketches by Tsunami Rose

Good afternoon everyone on what was a gorgeous day until 15 minutes ago.  Now cloudy and beginning to rain, so the photograph of my card again, is not too good.

Here is the sketch

and here is my card

I would have to choose to stamp onto vellum when the light is so bad! Anyway, the stamp is one that I received from Sue Wilson as a prize for commenting on her blog - believe me it is a beautiful stamp! lol.  The background paper is ice crystal from Create and craft, the light blue card is from Hunkydory, as is the sentiment.  I used the Spellbinders Whimsy M-bossabilities folder on the coredinations card and sanded it back.  The flower is from Prima, which I coloured with the same ink pad as I stamped with..  Although you cannot see it in the photograph, at the top of the rectangle is a stamped rosebud to match in with the main image.  Just wish you could see the card for real.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/106370486155916/ and also

Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone.  Well, I decided to put the two sketches in one blog today, as I was out at a friends grandaughters bbq yesterday, so didn't blog.

All the papers are from Mosaic Furnishings - Siesta Berry, the sentiment is Hunkydory, button I bought from Joanna Sheen and the ribbon  was bought from my local craft shop.

Now for today's sketch
