Hi everyone, thank you for the lovely comments left on my posts - I really do appreciate it.
Today's little offering is again from Jem's Designs, this time from 'Yesterday's Dreams' and the image is called 'Dreaming'

I Started with the backing paper from the cd, then did a die cut from the Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles and added the image.  The rose on the bottom right which I put a little bit of glitter on, and the butterfly on the top  right are also on the cd,  as is the sentiment.  I Finished the card off with some lace, pearls and gems which I had in my stash.
Hope you like it.  Till next time ..........................

Purple delight!

Thought I would do an easel card today using Jem's Designs 'Fancy Footwork' cd

The image is Orchid Steel:
I started with purple mirri card, then silver mirri card (which unfortunately has photographed more like gold!).  The topper is mounted onto purple glitter card.  I have put pearls and gems on the topper too.  The flowers are from Mei Flower and the base paper and sentiment are from the cd.
Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend - till next time........................

Hat's off to you!

Hi there everyone, I had a play with the new Jem's Designs cd 'Hatbox Confections' yesterday.  It certainly is a brilliant cd with gorgeous designs.

So here it is:

This one is called 'Golden Caramel'.  I  started off with a Coredinations backing paper then a backing paper from the cd which I coloured with Dried Marigold distress ink.  The next layer is dark brown Coredinations followed by more of the backing paper from the cd, again coloured with the distress ink.  I mounted the topper onto gold mirri card.  The flower embellishments are Creative Expressions Ribbon Roses, pearls from my stash and finally the sentiment from the cd.  Hope you like it.  Till next time .....................

I've tried something new!

Just a quick little post to show you my first play with the Martha Stewart moulds and clay that I did yesterday.  I started off, as you can see, doing them just with one colour, I then got a little bit braver and decided to have a go at marbling  a couple of the butterflies, and using two tone clay for the teeny one.  Thought I would have a go at the rose - there are instructions, but I didn't want to do a huge one, so adapted it. When I picked them up this morning, I couldn't believe how light they are, so yes they are perfect for embellishments on your projects, there is no weight to them at all.

Hope you all have a fabulous day.  Till next time .......................

Flower Frenzy - help!

Hello everyone, thank you for all the comments left on my blog.  I have been rather naughty not keeping up with comments on your blogs recently, no excuses, but promise to do better!
Today is a card for the challenge over at:

'Floral Frenzy'

I'm sure you all know by now that I am a Clean and Simple crafter, so this challenge, as I read it, got me right out of my comfort zone!
Here is my take on it:

I started with a shaped card from my stash and made it into an easel.  I coloured the background with pink tint Pan Pastel, then coloured some spiders web with an Arctic Blue Promarker.  Then came all the images which I decoupaged - I've never cut out so may images in one go in my life! Everything used for the flowers,  butterflies, and backing paper for the base of the card  has come from the Kraftyhands Kew cd.  The postcards are also from the Kew range.
