With love

Hi there everyone, thank you for all your comments on my  posts.

Been busy doing a Design Team card, but here's a quick and easy card I've also made today:

I say it was quick, that's because the little daisies were made using a  mould  from Lakeland  a couple of days ago with Martha Stewart air dry clay!  I did the backgrounds using Panpastels, the ribbon I had in my stash and the stamp is Wistful from Penny Black coloured with Promarkers.  I made a little chocolate box bow with the same ribbon and the With Love stamp I found in my stash.  So there you have it - quick and easy!   Till next time ........................

Glitter n Sparkle Clean and Simple Challenge

Hello, and welcome to another challenge over at:
Thak you to everyone who took part last week.

This week is 'Clean and Simple'

I have two cards this time -
The first one is I'm sorry' from Stitchy Bears

I started off with the image which is coloured with promarkers and just added two little dots of glossy accents for tears! I mounted her onto the Spellbinders Grand Dahlia dies as I thought it tied in with the petal shape of her dress.  I added gems from my stash and a sentiment done on my laptop.

Here's the second one:
which is Beach baby 2 from Bugaboo

The image is again coloured with promarkers, the background, sandals and shell were done in Serif, and the sentiment again was done on my laptop.  I finished off by putting glossy accents onto the splashes of water.

Our sponsors this week are:

Who are offering 7 digis from their store

Floppy Lattes Digital Designs ::All Digital All The Time

Who are offering a $6 dollar Gift Voucher

Who are offering a $10 dollar gift voucher to be spent on images from Coosty Designs, Stitchy Bear, or Digi Blessings at the Stitch store

We can't wait to see what you come up with ............... good luck

Birthday wishes

Hi everyone, thank you for the comments left on my blog posts.  I can't believe it's  nearly a week since I blogged (shame on me!), but I have been busy with DT work.  Talking of which - I applied for two DT posts and I'm just so over the moon to be able to tell you that I was accepted for both.  Thank you so much to Lindsay at
and also
Elaine Rayworth at
The Just for Fun challenges will begin on 1st August.
Thank you both for having such faith in me!

Onto a card I made for no-one in particular, just thought I would have a play as it's a new stamp I bought recently.

One day I  will learn NOT to colour in the image before choosing a background - it took me longer to find papers to match than it did colouring in the image!

The embossing folder I used is 'Interlocking circles' chosen by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions.  The swirls are 'Fanciful Flourish' from Cheery Lynn Designs and the image is 'Water Lily' from Penny Black.  The 'ripples' behind the water lilly is from Hobby Art and the sentiment is from Dufex, bought many moons ago!

Take care ..................... till next time

Wise Friend

Hello and welcome.  Today I have made a card for the

You have to use the 'Wise Friend' stamp plate which is designed by Sam Poole

Here is what I came up with:

I started with an 8 x 8 card blank, using 'Kraft card'.  I measured three inches from the bottom of the card, and cut the rest of the card blank off, leaving a sort of ledge. The backing paper is from a My Craft Studio cd.  I stamped the owl, leaves and sentiment  with Perfect Medium and then used 'Wow' Copper embossing powder.  Placed them onto my card, and there you have it!

Take care ................... till next time

Numbers challenge

Hi and welcome to my latest blog post.  Thank you for all your previous comments.

I have made a card for the challenge over at:

http://creativecraftchallenges2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/challenge-14-numbers.html

The project must contain numbers!

I started with an 8 x 8 card and embossed it with the Die'sire Patchwork Embossing folder, you wouldn't think so would you lol! Next, I stamped 'Grandma's Attic' from JustRite stamps onto white card using Adirondack 'Denim'.  I aged it a little by crumpling the card and adding 'Old Paper' distress ink.  The sewing machine, cotton reel, thimble and little buttons are from Spellbinder's 'Sewing Elements'.  The tape measure is from Tim Holtz  and the pins are from my sewing box.

Take care till next time .....................

Hello, and welcome, sorry I haven't been around for the past few weeks, unfortunately I have been rather poorly with vertigo, but am so pleased to say now,  I'm feeling much better.  I will try and comment on your blogs when I can, but still cannot sit at the laptop for too long before my head starts to spin!!!!

I thought I would show you a project I made a couple of days ago from the new 'Dreamies Templates and More cd rom, which you can buy from http://www.dreamees.org.uk/ -  It has lots and lots of templates on it including a vase, birdhouse and frames just to name a few.  It also comes with backing papers, embellishments, toppers and stands to put your cards etc on. All the projects come with instructions and a preview of what they should look like when finished.

Here is the hat that I made from the cd:

The papers and flower on the front of the hat are from the cd, and the rest of the embellishments I had in my stash.  Hope you like it, take care till ext time ...................
