Winter Wishes -Challenge 71 - at LEJ Designs

Hi, and welcome to another challenge over at:
This week we would like to see your 'Winter Wishes' entries
The first randomly drawn winner will receive 4 digis of their choice from:
And the second random winner will receive goodies from:

If you enter using an LEJ Design, you will be entered into an extra prize draw.  The jackpot is 4 digis this week

Onto my DT card in which I used Little Red Riding Hood Digi Stamp

I started off with an A5 card, the backing paper and stars are from a cd - unfortunately I didn't cut off enough at the front of the card for the word 'wishes' to show when I took the photograph! lol The little house is a stamp from Polkadoodles Pen to Paper circle and coloured with promarkers.   I tore three strips of white card and put glitter along the edges (that doesn't show up either!!!) and finally attached the Little red riding hood image which is also coloured with promarkers.

Hope you will go and have a look at what the other DT members came up with and then join in.  We look forward to seeing your entries .................. good luck

Today sees the start of a brand new Challenge  over at:

and as an incentive there is a 48hr sale with 10% off all sales from 9am today till 9am Tuesday.  To receive your discount, please use the following code at checkout:

I was so excited that Lexie asked me to join her Design Team, and hope that you will go and look at all the other DT projects too.

Here's what I came up with for our first challenge:

I started by stamping out the Vintage Floral Ring - SKU 0027, cut round the inside so that if formed an aperture, and then coloured it in using Promarkers.  The background is coloured with Panpastels.  I then stamped, coloured and cut out the Vintage Beauty 3 - SKU0023 image and placed it inside the aperture.  Again the background was coloured with Panpastels.  To finish the card off I used a couple of Fanciful Flourish die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs, a sentiment from Inkylicious and gems from my stash.

We so look forward to seeing your creations and don't forget to hop over to the shop and have a look, and also go and look at the other Teamies creations.  Good luck with your entries to the challenge.

'Something Shiny' Challenge at LEJ Designs

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at:
Thank you so much to everyone that entered last time, all the entries were fabulous.

It's the turn of Team A this time and the theme is Something Shiny
This is my DT card:

I started with an 8 x 8 card and covered the base with Kitchen Foil and then embossed it with the Interlocking circles designed by Sue Wilson.  Next I cut round Lindsay's Mask Digi Stamp, coloured it with Promarkers, added glitter and cut it out.  I attached the mask to a piece of white card, and coloured it with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. The flower and flourish was also done with Kitchen Foil and coloured lightly with Victorian Velvet Alcohol Inks.  Finally I did the 'Life's a Mystery' sentiment on the laptop, and cut them into a sort of eye shape to match the mask and went round the edge with Victorian Velvet distress ink.

The first randomly drawn winner will receive 4 images of their choice from:

and the second randomly drawn name will win goodies from:

We look forward to seeing what you create, have fun and good luck
