Finale of the dresses

Thank you again for the comments left last time.  Today is the last of the dresses digi stamps from:

This one is 'Emma'

I don't know why, but I found this one the hardest to colour.  I tried all different colours and techniques and finally when for this one.  It is again coloured with pencils.  The background is from Papermania, the sentiment is from Pinflair and the flowers are from my stash.

Hello and welcome to the third in the set of 'Dresses' digi stamps from::

I started with an 8 x 8 card blank, covered half in paper from Papermania Eu de Nil paper pad and the other half I used silver card embossed with a Sue Wilson embossing folder.  I added the ribbon before attaching the silver card to the base.  The digi I coloured with pencils and added  the glitter.  The sentiment and flowers are from my stash.

I will post the last one in the set tomorrow - thank you for all the lovely comments over the past few daysand for the get well wishes.  I'm having a good day so far - so fingers crossed!

This one is 'Lisa'

I started with  card bases of blue and navy, stamped  the chandellier with Versamark and then detailed silver embossing powder, using a stamp from Hobbycraft for £1!

Shall we dance??

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last post.   I'm going to introduce you to some new digi stamps which Lelli-bots have produced.

There are four in the 'Dresses' category and I will be showing you them one by one because they all deserve their own post.

You can find the digi-stamps at:

The first one is 'Elaine'

I began by brayering the background card with Silkies from Imagination Crafts and then embossed it with a Sue Wilson Daisy embossing folder.   I placed the ribbon over the background. The digi was coloured with pencils and I added some green glitter. Unfortunately it doesn't show up in the photo. The 'shall we dance' sentiment was produced on my laptop, cut out with punches and was coloured with Promarkers. Finally I added the flowers  and digi stamp.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.  Till next time ..................

Watch the birdie

Hello and welcome to another post.
Thank you to everyone that commented on my last blog post.

It's taken me  a few days to actually do this project as I have been feeling rather poorly and had to do it in short stages.  Anyway, here it is

I started with a canvas and then took a page from Craftwork Cards Cottage Garden Paper Pack.  I then took another page, cut it out and decoupaged in all the corners.  Next I painted the birdie from Papermania, with Indigo Blu English Cottage Pink Ice Gem Acrylic Paint, and then went over it again with Vintage Rose Distress Ink.  Finally I used an Indigo Blu background stamp onto the bird.

There you have it - till next time .........................

How time flies!

Thank you to all who left such fabulous comments on my last post.

Here's today's make:

This is my Indigo Blu clock - only hope I've got the numbers round the right way!! I dabbed cream and pale green acrylic paint onto the background and then stamped the numbers (Indigo Blu) with an Adirondack ink pad .  Next I used Imagination Crafts Spring is coming Stencil and used the Forest Green for the leaves, Black Stars for the birds, and then mixed Hunters green and Berries Medium Sparkle together for the branches..  It looks fabulous in my living room - the sparkle really does sparkle - unlike the photo!

I would like to enter this into Imagination Crafts challenge 'Things with Wings'

New Drawers

Thank you for all the lovely comments left on my last post.

Here's something I've been working on the last couple of days:

This is an Ali Reeves kit which I put together.  I painted it first with acrylic paint and then distressed with ink.  The papers and words are from Heartfelt Creations.

Window shopping

Thank you for those who left comments on yesterday's post.

Today is a project using a digi stamp from:
which will be coming soon.

I started by making the frame and then inked  it with distress ink. I then added a piece of acetate behind it.  The words were done in Craft Artist and coloured lightly with distress ink.  Next I put the backing paper onto a piece of card, coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pencils, glued it to the backing paper and attached it to the back of the frame.

The frame, image and backing paper are all from Lelli-bots.

Hand Coloured Image Challenge at Whoopsi Daisy

Hello and welcome to a new post from me.  Thank you for all the lovely comments left last time.

This will be a short post because I am running out of time to enter the challenge!!

Here's what I did with one of Whoopsie Daisy's images

The background paper is Vintage Tapestry, the die cut is 'Seville' from the Spanish collection of dies from Sue Wilson.  The paper is Papermaker from Craftstyle and the sentiment I think is an old Hunky dory one (can't be sure of that one!)  Finally, I coloured the image with Promarkers

Till next time ...........

Just for Fun Challenge- Ribbon or Lace

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at:

Thank you to everyone who took part last month, the entries were fabulous.

The theme this month is Ribbon or Lace.  You can use one or other or even both.

Here's my DT make:

As you can see I used both Ribbon and lace which were in my stash.  The background, image, bows and heart embellishments are all from:

Hope you aren't getting fed up with seeing their images, but they are so inspirational to work with.

Good luck in the challenge
