Lelli-Bot Left Overs Challenge

This is a card I made for the Challenge, using all the bits and bobs  from the Fantasy Fairies kit which you can find here:
http://www.lellibotcrafts.co.uk/index.php

Absolutely everything on this card are the bits and pieces I had left over and I cut the fairy out of a topper so I could sit her on the bank by the water, and added the metal fairy also from Lellibots.

So, if you have any left overs from your kits why not join in the Challenge here:

- it's open until the end of July, so there's  plenty of time

Thinking of You

Hello and welcome.  Thank you to everyone who left comments on my last post xx

I stamped out this image last week and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.  Yesterday I was having a tidy and found the backing paper (I think it's Craftwork Cards), and off I went! lol

The stamp is from Marianne Designs Victorian Vintage Stamp set which I cut out with a Spellbinder die and inked round the edge with distress ink whilst it was still in the die.  I found a left over strip of paper and placed it across the middle.  The flowers were made using Spellbinders Posy Patch die and the sentiment is a stamp from Hobbycraft.  The pearls are from my stash.

They call me mellow yellow! lol

Hello and welcome to my latest post.  Thank you to everyone that left comments on the last one.

Have been playing with some stamps and dies that I hadn't used up till now and here's what I came up with:

I started off making the flowers which are Majestic Bloom Dies from Heartfelt Creations coloured with a Memento Dandelion Inkpad.  The stamens were made with Sweet Juliet die from Heartfelt Creations, but I had to cut them down quite a bit because I haven't got any dies with stamens in them! I finished off the flowers with cream pearls from Creative Expressions.

The swirl is from the Belle Rose Spellbinders die and I just chopped the leaves off.  I stamped the background with Majestic Morning by Heartfelt Creations, using Memento Dandelion inkpad. I did go round the edges with Scattered Straw  Distress ink, but it doesn't show up very well. I also coloured a piece of ribbon with the same distress ink.

The frame and sentiment is from Phill Martin's Vintage Frames stamp collection.

Finally I added some black Mosaic gems from Papermania, and cream pearls from Creative Expressions.

Triple stamping

Hello and welcome.  Thank you again for the lovely comments left on my last post - much appreciated x

I was watching Sue Wilson over the weekend and she did a triple stamping card.  I thought to my self it's an absolute age since I had done one - so here it is:

The stamps I've used are from Phill Martin.  The flowers and swirl are from the set 'Oval Frame and Flourish Collection, and the sentiment is from the Vintage Frame Sentiment Collection.
The colours I used are from Memento - New Sprout, Olive, Bamboo Leaves, Cottage Ivy and finally a Ranger Archival ink - Fern Green.

The base card, backing paper and gems are from my stash.

Love and kisses

Hello and welcome - thank you for the lovely comments left last time.

Just a quick update health wise - I went to see the ENT Consultant again yesterday and to say he is puzzled is an understatement.  Anyway, I have to wait for an appointment to go to the 'Balance Clinic' at the hospital.  Apparently they spend half a day giving me weird and wonderful tests!!!  Not looking forward to it, but at least I might get some answers as to what's going on.

Here's my make for today:

I started with a white base card and then embossed the blue card with a Sheena Douglass embossing folder.  Next I stamped  the Mini Frame Scroll work stamp from Creative Expressions with Versamark and embossed with Gold detail embossing powder.
I cut the images out using Spellbinders Small Classic squares,  and stamped Love and Kisses from the All Occasions Sentiments stamp set by Creative Expressions onto one of them. I cut out a matt for all the images using Spellbinders Luscious Labels One and put them onto the base of the card.  The flowers and leaves are made with Spellbinders Faux Quilled Blooms and I attached a pearl in the centre of each.
Then came the bow made with Lace on a Roll, to which I attached the heart embellishment from my stash.  Finally I attached some self adhesive pearl swirls from Creative Expressions.

Here is a close up of one of the toppers:

It's been framed!

Hello and welcome to a new post.  Thank you to those that took the time to comment on the last one.

Here's my card for today:

I started with a white base card, then cut a piece of Creative Expressions Periwinkle card a wee bit smaller.  In each corner I stamped Creative Expressions Dresses Corner with Archival Cobalt ink and clear embossed them.
I then used Creative Expressions Art Deco Fanfare embossing folder designed by Sue Wilson.

The next step was to stamp and emboss the Garden Frame stamp again from Creative Expressions, which I coloured with my Promarkers.  I then stamped the sentiment from Creative Expressions All Occasions stamp set.  Next I used  the Adorning Square die from Spellbinders to make a matt for the frame. I inked a piece of seam binding with the Archival Cobalt ink pad and attached it to the Periwinkle cardstock and then attached the matt and frame.

I can see this frame stamp being really versatile as I can see at least a couple more ways of using it.

Having forty winks???

Hello and welcome - thank you for all your comments, I love reading them.

Found these stamps hiding amongst my hoard yesterday and realised I'd never used them!

I cut out the largest of the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circle die and painted the background with a mix of  Red Satin and Sunshine Satin Silkies waterbased paints.  I did water them down so that the colours weren't quite so intense.

I then used stamps from the 'Good Time' Stamps set by Indigo Blu

I cut out another plain circle from the Spellbinders Grand Circle Die set, again painted the background and used stamps from Sam Poole from Creative Expressions Watch Faces  set.

The sentiment is again from the Good Time set.

A little bit of shimmer

Hello and welcome.  Thank you for all the fabulous comments on my last post.

It has been a very up and down week healthwise, but am off to the the Consultant again on Thursday, so see what happens.

Here's my latest make:

The images are from the 'Waterlilly Decoupage Stamp set' by Imagination Crafts and then coloured with their Silkies waterbased paints.  Unfortunately this photo doesn't do the paint justice, because in real life the shimmer is gorgeous.

Hope you've enjoyed your visit.  Till next time ...................

Hello Daisy

Hello and welcome.  Thank you for the comments left on my last post, I always look forward to reading them.

I started this card yesterday, then the tennis started and of course straight after that it was the Grand Prix, so nothing else got done!!!
Anyway, finished it off this morning.

I started with an 8 x 8 base card and then cut another layer a wee bit smaller.  I then embossed it with an Embossalicious folder.  Next up were the die cuts and I used Spellbinders Decorative blossom corner.  The image is a Just Rite 'Hello Daisy' stamp and I coloured it with my Promarkers. I cut out a faux die from Justrite Vintage Labels 2 die set. Next I did the sentiment which is from the same stamp set and I went round both with Mustard Seed distress ink.

Next I went round the whole of the card blank with Cosmic Shimmer Spring Green PVA Glue and finally added a few pearls from my stash to the sentiment,  image and base card.

There you have it.  Till next time ..................

Dare to open the gate?

Hello and welcome.  Thank you so much for the lovely comments left on my posts.

Today is an easy card (2 pictures for this one)

I began with a plain gatefold card  from Craftwork Cards.  The paper is from Craftystyle.  Inside I used Archival - Watering Can to stamp the cut glass vase and also the Floral Spray designed by Sue Wilson and made by Creative Expressions.

Finally I made a band to go round the card and used the left over flower from the gatefold for the sentiment which is included in the cut glass vase set.

I think perhaps next time I will cover the inside flaps as well - looks rather bare .

Don't know where I'm going with this!!!

Thank you for all the comments left on my last post.
I have had this mannequin from Indigo Blu for ages so thought it was about time I did something with it!

I'm afraid I made it up as I went along, the only thing I knew I wanted to do was to use something from the Crafters Companion Vintage Floral collection cd!

I began by painting with Gesso and then added papers from the cd.  Next I used pebeo acrylic paint to form the bodice and then stuck the flower paper to the bottom half of the mannequin.  I then made the hat out of card and added papers from the cd and attached the feathers.

Next I found two wooden butterflies and painted them with Sparkle medium from Imagination crafts and attached the pendant which I had in my stash.

I painted the rod and base with acrylic paint, attached the sentiment and finally added the flowers to the base.

A land far far away

Thank you for all the lovely comments received on my recent posts.
Today we travel to India, a place I have always dreamed of going.

I made this for the latest challenge over at:
http://imagination-craftschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/
Where the theme is All that glitters

Everything I have used is from Imagination Crafts
I began by brayering Blue Moonstone Sparkle medium onto the base card.
The main image is a stencil and I used Light Copper, Silver, Golden Green and Hunter Green sparkle medium through it.

The sentiment was done on my laptop

The fabulous thing about the Sparkle medium is that it doesn't shed it's glitter.
