Here is my first DT card for the challenge:

Base card and second layer have been embossed with Sheena Douglass's embossing folders.  The background of the image was done using Pan pastels and the image was coloured with Promarkers.  Next I punched out some butterflies and attached the pearls.  Finally I attached the sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

I hope you will have a look at what the Design Team have done, and also join in the challenge.

Easter basket

Hello and welcome to another post.  Thank you so much for all the comments left on yesterday's post xx

Today's creation:

I made this for my friends Jean and Alex, I haven't decided what to put in it yet!  I started off by putting the pieces of the MDF basket together.  I then used paper from Craftwork cards for the front, back and sides, and painted the handle with Pebeo acrylic paint..  I placed the pearls along the top and then attached the lace and  flowers.  Finally I coloured a piece of Seam Binding with a Promarker and attached it to the handle

That's it!

I thought you might like to see the Camelia and Helebores which are in flower in my garden,  There are loads of buds to come out on the Camelia.

Keeping things tidy!!

Hello and welcome.  Sorry I haven't blogged for a while.  I have still been crafting, but can't share at the moment!  Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post, it's really appreciated xx

Here's today's make:

I started off by glueing the Craft Consortium Decoupage Papers to the Creative Expressions Glue and Ink holder.  I then put the whole thing together (no glue required).  Once together I painted the unit with Creative Expressions Shy Violet Matt Chalk  Paint.  A very quick and easy project.

A little bit of Sparkle

Hi there, and welcome to another post.  Thank you for all the lovely comments left for me on the last couple of posts xx

Here's today's offering, please  feel free to click on the image to see the real sparkle::

I embossed the base layer with Sue Wilson's Interlocking Circles, then added the green.  I then placed the main stencil from Imagination Crafts onto black card - also  from Imagination Crafts and used Tangerine and Pastel Yellow Sparkle Medium.  The next step was to use the same Sparkle Medium on the smaller stencil from Imagination Crafts to decoupage the image.

Hope you like it - till next time ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Clean and simple

Hello and welcome to my latest post.  Thank you so much for all the lovely comments left on my last one.  I thought I was 'Billie no mates' as I didn't get any email notifications that anyone had commented!!! lol

Here's today's card, so easy to do -

The corners are from Phill Marin's Decadent Damask collection and the sentiment is from his Decadent Damask Inspirational Phrases stamp set.  The scalloped circle is a stamp I got free with a magazine.

Ooops! I have just spotted that I didn't quite line up the corners properly, but a blind man would be glad to see it!!!!

It's the witching hour!

Hello and welcome to another post.  It's been a few days since I've posted anything, and I hope you like what you see xx

I started with a 6" x 6" card and went round the outside with a Promarker.  Next I made a chocolate box bow and attached it to the teal backing card which I embossed and added a Dazzler. I coloured the Sweet Pea image with Promarkers, and coloured the background with Pan Pastels.  Finally I attached the sentiment which I also coloured with a Promarker.

Love is all around

Hello and welcome to another post.

Today's card is a Clean and simple card and so easy to make

A 6 x 6 card embossed with the 'Tied Together' embossing folder, and slightly coloured round the edge with Spun Sugar distress ink.  The heart was cut with a Couture die from Crafter's Companion.  The word love was stamped with Stazon and is from Hobbycraft.

I would like to enter this card into the 'Simply Less is More' Challenge - they like to see plenty of white!  The theme is: This makes me happy - this makes me happy because it reminds me of the feeling of extra love given to me by family and friends since I've been poorly
